Tournament Poker Pro ALLinPAV Adds Bonus ICM Video to Upswing Lab

Upswing Poker’s resident online tournament crusher Hristivoje ‘ALLinPAV’ Pavlovic brings his deep understanding of ICM to the Key ICM Concepts module, available now in the Upswing Poker Lab.

Pav just added a new bonus video at the end of the course, covering the stone bubble of one of the highest-stakes tournaments in the world.

The Bonus Video covers a scenario in the Super High Roller Bowl VIII, with five players remaining and four payout spots available. The payout table looks like this:

  • 1st – $2.76 million
  • 2nd – $1.68 million
  • 3rd – $960k
  • 4th – $600K

The players remaining:

  • Issac Haxton
  • Jason Koon
  • Stephen Chidwick
  • Andrew Lichtenberger
  • Chris Brewer

Brewer and Lichtenberger get into a big hand, and one of them stands to go home with nothing. You would be hard-pressed to find a poker tournament spot where ICM matters more, and Pavlovic covers the implications in detail.

Key ICM Concepts Module Available Now

ICM (aka Independent Chip Model) is a mathematical concept at the core of a winning poker tournament strategy. If you want to achieve consistent success (and large payouts) in poker tournaments, a deep understanding of ICM concepts is a must.

ICM allows players to estimate the value of their stack at any given point in the tournament. ICM calculations evaluate a player’s chip stack and place a monetary value on it based on tournament payouts.

The three-hour module includes the following lessons:

  • Solver-Land vs. Reality
  • Trying to Fit Your Narrative
  • Unnatural Shoves
  • Stop Overplaying Pocket Pairs!
  • Creative Flats and Tight Defends
  • $150 Final Table Review
  • Bonus Video: Super High Roller Bowl Stone Bubble

Upswing Poker Lab members can enjoy the Key ICM Concepts module as part of the vast library of training materials available in the Lab.
